The pottery’s “bread and butter” pots are fired in a 12 cubic foot front loader. Electric firing allows them to produce pots quickly, predictably and economically. They use either a white stoneware or porcelain clay for our electric fired pots, firing to 1260°C. Pieces fired in an electric kiln to these temperatures are vitreous and are very strong, making them ideal for use as tableware and ovenware.
